NDIRF’s Quintus Earns Law Degree
Bismarck, N.D. – The North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund (NDIRF) is proud to announce CEO Brennan Quintus graduated with highest honors from Concord Law School, an affiliate of the Purdue University System, earning an Executive Juris Doctor (EJD) degree.
The three-year online EJD program offers a traditional law school curriculum and experience designed to equip business professionals with the knowledge to “grasp legal and regulatory issues, review contracts, shape corporate policy, and communicate effectively with attorneys” (Concord Law School, Purdue Global, 2022).
“Legal training is so important to professionals in numerous regulated fields, including insurance,” Concord Law School’s Dean and Vice President Martin Pritikin said. “Concord is proud to offer a specialized degree, in addition to the traditional Juris Doctor (JD), for those who would benefit from the rigors of law school but who do not intend to become practicing attorneys.”
Quintus completed courses in contract law, torts, civil procedure, constitutional law, education law, employment law, administrative law, legal analysis and writing, contract drafting, as well as other courses related to the legal and regulatory issues the NDIRF and its members face. The NDIRF’s membership is comprised of North Dakota political subdivisions, including cities, counties, and schools.
Quintus was named a distinguished scholar and received awards for his work in constitutional law and legal analysis and writing. He also earned the Executive Juris Doctor Award of Academic Excellence which honors students who graduate with the highest GPA in their class.
