LocalGovU Online Training
Your entity has access to over 1,000 online professional development and training courses for local government through LocalGovU, the NDIRF’s member-exclusive, free online training platform. Course topics include human resource management, customer service, road maintenance, general safety, and cybersecurity.
LocalGovU also offers North Dakota POST Board-approved courses, allowing law enforcement agencies to fulfill 20 of the 60 training hours required by the North Dakota POST Board every three years. If you’re not already a registered LocalGovU administrator or user, click here to request access to the training platform. User requests are typically reviewed and verified quickly, granting you access to the platform within two business days.
Once your account is verified, a LocalGovU Customer Success representative will reach out to connect. They can also assist you in adding your entity’s users, including fellow employees and elected officials. Administrators have the ability to assign training courses, run reports, and more.
