During this one-hour webinar, North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Rights Director (NDDOL-HR) of Operations Jessica Juma will discuss North Dakota youth employment and child labor laws, including the department’s requirements for filing an age & employment certificate, prohibited duties per state law for 14 and 15-year-old employees, exemptions from North Dakota’s child labor laws, and more.
Juma joined the NDDOL-HR in May 2019, first serving as a compliance investigator before being promoted to the department’s Director of Operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, master’s degree in safety, security, and emergency management, and has worked exclusively in law enforcement and public service positions throughout her career.
