NDIRF hires Drennen as marketing and communications manager

Bismarck, ND – The North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund (NDIRF) recently hired Joanna Drennen as its marketing and communications manager. In this role, Drennen is responsible for managing the organization’s internal and external communications as well as serving as a communications resource for the local government entities NDIRF serves.

Drennen brings nearly 10 years of marketing and communications experience to the NDIRF, serving in similar capacities within the technology and financial services industries as well as state government.

A University of Mary (Bismarck, ND) graduate, Drennen has bachelor’s degrees in English and communications. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in strategic communication management from Concordia University, St. Paul (St. Paul, Minn.) with an anticipated graduation date of spring 2021.

Drennen serves on the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association's board of directors and as the social media volunteer for the International Association of Business Communicators - Great Plains Chapter.
